MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHEN I TRY TO EXPLAIN MY RESEARCH

i read many articles about how “friends” on facebook, twitter, google+, tumblr, et al are nothing like “real friends”. people rant about how technology can be dehumanizing and turn people into commodities.
i strongly disagree with that sentiment. however, i decided to try an experiment. i’m a beginning programmer. i’d like to write some code that will take a list of everyone i’m connected to via all the various social networks and then draw a name at random twice a week. i’ll then invite those people to come have coffee / a drink / lunch / etc. in person.
however, i have many of the same people on multiple social networks. is there a tool where i can log in to all my various accounts and it’s smart enough to recognize which are the same people and combine them? if not, i could do it manually, but that seems like a long and slow way to go about it.
